
The Upstate Junior Honor Band, an independent non-profit organization, is a weekly ensemble designed specifically for 7th and 8th grade students from Greenville, Spartanburg, Anderson, Laurens, and Pickens counties.
Cost: $150 for the 10-week session. Payment is due by the first session, September 8th - check, cash or Venmo requested.
Early Bird Registration is only $75 if you register by August 31st, 2025.

Kevin Styles is a retired band director with over 30 years of experience. Before he retired he was the band director at Riverside Middle School in the Greenville County School District for many years. Though retired, he still assists the Riverside High School marching band and is active in his community.
The Upstate Junior Honor Band All*Star Jazz Ensemble is a weekly jazz ensemble designed specifically for high school students (grades 9-12) from Greenville, Spartanburg, Anderson, Laurens, and Pickens counties. Students will learn how to improvise and other fundamentals of jazz. No prior jazz experience is necessary.

Iliana Rose is a remarkably talented musician whose artistry is deeply influenced by her Cuban heritage. Born in Miami to Cuban parents and raised in a household rich in Cuban rhythms and traditions, Iliana’s passion for music began at an early age. A true prodigy, she started playing music at just four years old. After years of rigorous classical and jazz training, she earned performance degrees from the prestigious University of Miami and the National Piano Guild. Learn more about her here.
